There had been much speculation that the show would not return due to low ratings.
I Am Cait debuted strong in July of last year, with 2.73million viewers tuning in for the series premiere.
However the show's audience figures soon collapsed, and ratings dipped as low as 480,000 during the second season, a rather poor return in a country that has a population of more than 321 million.
