The bookers on HBO's talk shows are keeping things interesting.
Bill Simmons' show will feature a one-on-one interview with Caitlyn Jenner before the Rio Olympics start on Friday. "Any Given Wednesday With Bill Simmons" airs at 10 p.m. Wednesday (tonight). Jenner competed as Bruce Jenner in the 1976 Summer Games and won the gold medal in the decathlon.
Simmons' panel discussion will feature former Orlando Magic player J.J. Redick (now with the Los Angeles Clippers) and actor Lamorne Morris of "New Girl."
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange will be the first interview guest on "Real Time With Bill Maher" at 10 p.m. Friday on HBO. Assange can weigh in on presidential candidate Hillary Clinton -- Maher is a top supporter. Comedian Jeff Ross will be the mid-show interview. The panel will be director Rob Reiner, political commentator Tara Setmayer and former Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa.
"The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" will welcome John Cena and Scott Eastwood on the Wednesday show at 11:35 p.m. on CBS. There will be a musical performance by Aaron Neville. Thursday's show features actors Jamie Dornan and Javier Muñoz; author Malcolm Gladwell; and the O'Jays, who will perform with Jon Batiste and Stay Human. Friday's show offers actress Diane Kruger, comedian Mark Normand and U.S. Olympic fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad.
"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" presents Aziz Ansari, Carla Gugino and comedian Jeff Dye on the Wednesday show at 11:35 p.m. on NBC. Chad Smith will perform with the Roots. Thursday's show has Miles Teller, Keri Russell and musical guest Steven Tyler. Friday's show will present Jerry Seinfeld, Seth Rogen and musical guest Jason Derulo.
"Jimmy Kimmel Live" has Hugh Grant, Nikki Glaser and singer Miranda Lambert on Wednesday's show at 11:35 p.m. on ABC. Thursday's show has lined up Morgan Freeman, Steve Martorano, music from Young the Giant and a performance by Sharon Jones with Cleto and the Cletones.
